Substance demoralize complicates almost every aspect of care for the person with a mental disorder. When drugs enter the brain, they can interrupt the work and real change how the brain performs its jobs these changes are what lead to compulsive drug use. medicate abuse plays a major role when concerning mental health. It is very problematical for these individuals to engage in treatment. Diagnosis for a treatment is difficult be exploit it takes epoch to disengage the interacting effects of substance abuse and the mental illness. It whitethorn as well be difficult for substance abusers to be accommodated at home and it may not be tolerated in the community of residents of rehabilitation programs. The author states, that they arrest up losing their support systems and suffer frequent relapses and hospitalizations (Agnes B. Hatfield, 1993).Furthermore, mental illness and drug colony are conditions that often occur together. This is a person who has both brain disorders th at influence one another, and which both need treatment. Some dictate that certain drugs may actually cause mental illness in individuals with a weak genetic profile (Genetic Science tuition Center, 2011).With that be said, symptoms may get worse, but drugs do not necessarily cause mental illness. Some people may begin using drugs of abuse as a form of self-medication. For instance, drugs of abuse may temporarily conciliate some of the symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, or depression, but the problems will still exist. Therefore, the form of self-medicating when using drugs can lead to harmful effects in a persons mental health. People who have been undiagnosed may overly suffer from serious mental disorders.
